Bulgarian Winemaking & Export Association is the only organization in Bulgaria that represents the Bulgarian wine industry on the international markets
Our History
At the end of 2012, driven by the need for more active representation of Bulgarian wine production on foreign markets and collective protection of the interests of the branch, we proceeded to the establishment of BWEA.
Galina Niforou is elected President of the Bulgarian Winemaking & Export Association. By taking this important post, she is working hard to promote Bulgarian wines on international markets.
Since 2020 Bulgarian Winemaking and Export Association is in close collaboration with Baltic Gastronomy Leaders from Lithuania. Both Associations successfully executed already 2 projects for promotion of European schemes of products with PD)/PGI in Asia ( China, South Korea and Japan) and USA. Their other activities includes promotional projects in Poland, Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia and Bulgaria as well as in United Arab Emirates and Ukraine.
